After 48 years of serving this incredible community, Island Pet Center will be closing as owner Brian Knoll enters retirement.
Since opening in 1977, Island Pet Center has been built on relationships—between neighbors, families, pets, and a community that believes in supporting local businesses. What began as a small pet store became a trusted part of everyday life for generations of pet owners.
Our success was never about transactions—it was about trust. It was about knowing our customers by name, watching families grow, and sharing in the joy that pets bring into our lives.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who walked through our doors over the past 48 years: our loyal customers, dedicated employees, local partners, and this town that stood by us year after year.
